The London Ballet Circle

Time is just rushing by and next Sunday is our second compulsory rehearsal – the last before we get into the theatre!

We are also excited to welcome members of the London Ballet Circle. The London Ballet Circle is a registered charity which provides financial support to student dancers. It raises funds by hosting events such as talks by dancers, choreographers and company directors where you can find out first hand from artists about their life and work and have the opportunity to put your questions in person. Our own patron Christopher Marney gave a talk to them last June and Jasmine Wallis was one of the dancers that benefited from a Masterclass given by our other patron Doreen Wells that they organised.

They arrange private visits to vocational ballet schools, to see the stars of tomorrow in training and see the tremendous discipline and dedication they devote to their art. They felt that a visit to The Chelmsford Ballet Company would be of interest to their members and are venturing out to Essex to see us at our best.
