Matthew Bourne’s Sleeping Beauty, A Gothic Romance

Wow, what a night, Matthew Bourne’s Sleeping Beauty was amazing, the whole production was such a spectacle.  Chris Marney, Count Lilac was the star of the show, he was fantastic, awesome to the point we kidnapped him and gave him a lift home on our coach, it was the least we could do!  It was wonderful to chat to him all the way back to Chelmsford.

The icing on the cake, was of course meeting Matthew Bourne, a pure genius in my eyes.

Thank you Chris for such a wonderful performance, we will be talking about it for days.

My thanks also to Marion Pettet for organising this trip, the show was sold out incredibly quickly and I know, if it wasn’t for her swift actions, we would have surely missed out, a fantastically well orgnised social event for The Company.
Thank you to all who supported the trip….here’s to the next one!

It was a pleasure, I really enjoyed myself too. I make no apologies though for allocating myself the best seat. Such a marvellous evening and show. I can’t even begin to start to say what I enjoyed the most; except that Chris was definitely the star. Thanks also to Carol-Anne for finalising the details whilst I swanned off to Bath.
